Camp Illahaw is a week-long Horse and Adventure camp located in St. Cloud, Florida at the 4700 acre Crescent J Ranch and Forever Florida Wildlife Conservation Area. Boys and Girls ages 10-15 years experience life on a real Florida ranch and explore Forever Florida’s 9 diverse ecosystems. They learn horseback skills, enjoy fun outdoor activities and make memories to last a lifetime. All of this located just a short drive from Orlando, Kissimmee, Tampa and Melbourne!
Campers have a chance to experience the Zipline Safari, Central Florida's biggest zipline adventure! As with all activities, the campers will be under the watchful eye of their camp directors and guides assuring a safe and fun experience for everyone.
Set up in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800's, our new dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between weeks.
The 8 one-week sessions run June 10 to August 4, 2012 and are just $475 per session.
Camp Illahaw offers campers the chance to experience all that Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of activities: Swamp Trek or Nature and Animal Lore, Horseback Riding and Arena Activities, Florida Heritage Programs, Field Sports, ziplining and our very own unique Outdoor Survival Program. At Camp Illahaw, we not only concentrate on the campers activities but also their social interactions. Camp Illahaw hosts campers with a diversity of cultures from around the world, not just Florida.
Even better, 30% of the revenue from Camp Illahaw is donated to a non-profit conservation fund that supports the Forever Florida Wildlife Conservation Area. It's a great way to teach the kids about responsibility to the land and conservation efforts. This insures that our campers, kids, and grandkids will be able to enjoy the pristine wonder of Florida's wilderness just like the Summer 2012 campers are going to!
